1. Who we are

PitchPoint is a mobile platform that connects entrepreneurs and investors via short video pitches. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Data controller: PitchPoint (MVP, contact info@pitchpoint.es).

2. Data we collect

To use PitchPoint you provide: email, display name, role (entrepreneur or investor), niches of interest, language. Entrepreneurs upload videos, project descriptions and related content. Investors enter an investment thesis (sectors, ticket size, geographies). We also collect anonymous usage events: video views, saves, likes, intro requests, video completion, calendar events, notifications.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: (a) run the personalized feed and AI-driven matching; (b) moderate comments through language models; (c) send operational notifications related to your contacts, intros and meetings; (d) measure product quality in aggregate. We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for advertising.

4. AI and third-party providers

For comment moderation and matching we call OpenAI language models. We send only the text needed for the single evaluation. For video storage we use Amazon Web Services (AWS S3, Frankfurt). Data may be processed in the EEA and at times in the United States under standard contractual clauses where applicable.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings > Delete my account, we immediately erase all personal data and content from our databases. Video files are removed from storage within 30 days. Technical backups are rotated within 90 days.

6. Your GDPR rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction. To exercise them: (a) access/portability → Settings > Export my data to receive a JSON file with everything we hold; (b) rectification → edit profile / thesis / projects in the app directly; (c) erasure → Settings > Delete my account; (d) objection/restriction → email info@pitchpoint.es.

7. Security

We hash passwords with bcrypt, JWT tokens are HS256-signed and stored in the device SecureStore. Connections are HTTPS/TLS only. We do not promise absolute security — please report vulnerabilities to info@pitchpoint.es.

8. Minors

PitchPoint is for users aged 16 or above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be announced in the app before becoming effective.
