How to pitch your idea in 60 seconds
A good short pitch answers three questions in order. You don't need slides: a phone held vertically is enough.
- The problem (10-15 s)
Who has the problem, and why it hurts today. One concrete example beats any statistic. - Your solution (20-25 s)
What you built or want to build, and how it solves that problem. Show it if you can. - Where you are today (10-15 s)
Idea, prototype, first users, sales: say it honestly. Then say what you are looking for: feedback, users, a co-founder, partners.
Tips
- Start with the problem, not with your name.
- Hold the phone vertically, face a window, use a quiet room.
- One idea per video: cut everything that is not essential.
- Record it three times and keep the most natural take.
